விடாத அடை மழையில்
ஒழுகும் ஓலை குடிசையுனுள்
தன் குழந்தை நனைய கூடாதன்று
தானே குடையாகிறாள் இருப்பினும் அக்குழந்தை
நனைகிறது . . . .
மழை துளிகளால் அல்ல
தாயின் கண்ணீர் துளிகளால் ,
